Multimedia

One of ten pages from Craig Marion's Software Design Smorgasbord. The others are:

Visualization Human-Computer Interaction Usability Engineering User Interface Design Online Information Design
Performance Support Knowledge Support Productive Workplaces Knowledge Management Home

The focus of this page is on enhancing software using multimedia. The topics I've concentrated on are

  • good interaction design
  • animating gifs
  • creating video clips and other animations
  • integrating multimedia objects into software
  • innovative design using Flash

I'm interested in using multimedia to enhance interaction and to provide Performance Support and Knowledge Support.

Many of the sources cited, however, discuss other issues in multimedia and a wide variety of multimedia techniques.
