SPRING INTO MOTION WINS BIG THIS DANCE SEASON

This competitive dance season was an exciting one for Spring Into Motion.  The local dancers competed against numerous dance studios from across the state and the Midwest for prestigious top honors at competitions throughout the season.  Spring Into Motion traveled to the Co. Dance Competition in Chicago, Starbound in Middleton, Showstoppers in Middleton and Midwest Starz in Wisconsin Dells.  The local studio earned high honors in each of the competitions.  Some of the record setting highlights of the season included having the first local Junior team win two double platinums with two different dances at the same competition and winning their division at two consecutive competitions.  The Senior team was the first local team to earn a Platinum award in Chicago and the first team to ever win highest overall point of the entire competition at Midwest Starz in Wisconsin Dells. Spring Into Motion was also able to place first overall twice this season with one of their other dances taking second to themselves!  Lists of the season’s accomplishments are outlined below:

Junior Tap:  Double Platinum, 2 High Gold, High Silver awards. Placed1st overall in the Junior                       Division at Showstoppers and Starbound Competitions. Placed 3^rd Overall at

                    Midwest Starz Competition.

Senior Tap:  3 Platinum and a High Gold Award.  Placed 2^nd Overall at Midwest Starz

                    Competition; Placed 4^th Overall in the Teen Division at Co. Dance in Chicago;

                    Placed 3^rd Overall at Starbound and Placed 6^th Overall at  Showstopper.

Junior Hip Hop:  Double Platinum, High Gold, Gold and High Silver Awards.  Placed 2^nd

                           Overall in the  Junior Division at Showstopper and Midwest Starz; Placed 4^th

                           Overall at Starbound.

Senior Hip Hop:  2 Platinum, High Gold, and Gold Awards.  Placed 1^st Overall at Midwest Starz

                            Competition;Placed 7^th Overall in the Teen Division at Showstopper; Placed 6^th

                            Overall in the Senior Division at Starbound.

Junior Jazz:   3 Gold and a High Silver Award.  Placed 3^rd Overall in the Junior Division at

                     Starbound; Placed 5^th Overall at Showstopper.

Senior Jazz:  3 Gold and a High Silver Award.
