If there's one thing I, Steve Irwin, would want to be remembered for it's passion and enthusiam.
Conservation is my job, my life, my whole persona.
Some of our favorite Steve and Terri quotes...
" The time has come when all of us must
be held accountable. We don't own the planet Earth, we belong to it and we must share it with our wildlife."
Steve
My belief is that what comes across on the television is a capture of my enthusiasm and my passion for wildlife.

I believe that education is all about being excited about
something. Seeing passion and enthusiasm helps push an educational message.
"Born a wildlife warrior, die a wildlife warrior. "
Radio interview on Radio Alice (KLLC 97.3)
his daughter Bindi,
who said:
My Daddy was my hero – he was always there for
me when I needed him. He listened to me and taught me so many things, but most of all he was fun.
I know that Daddy had an important job. He was working
to change the world so everyone would love wildlife like he did. He built a hospital to help animals and he bought lots of
land to give animals a safe place to live.
He took me and my brother and my Mum with him all the
time. We filmed together, caught crocodiles together and loved being in the bush together.
I don’t want Daddy’s passion to ever end.
I want to help endangered wildlife just like he did.
I have the best Daddy in the whole world and I will miss
him every day. When I see a crocodile I will always think of him and I know that Daddy made this zoo so everyone could come
and learn to love all the animals. Daddy made this place his whole life and now it’s our turn to help Daddy.
“Groups such as Wildlife Warriors, who educate the public about the
beauty of even the scariest species and why cruelty to them is wrong, can make a difference”
"I will continue to put my life on the line to save wildlife," he vows. "This is
my passion, and it won't stop. My life or theirs."
"Our passion for wildlife is our elixir
of life and we'll die defending animals tht others deem dangerous or threatening. We humans still have along way to go with
learning to live harmoniously with out environment and its wildlife."
Endless visions fill my head - this man - as large as life And instantly my heart mourns for his angels and his
wife
Because the way I see Steve Irwin - just put everything aside It comes back to his family - it comes back to his
pride
His animals inclusive - Crikey - light the place with love! Shine his star with everything he fought to rise above
The crazy-man of Khaki from the day he left the pouch Living out his dream and in that classic ‘Stevo’
crouch
Exploding forth with character and redefining cheek It’s one thing to be honoured as a champion unique
It’s one thing to have microphones and spotlight cameras shoved It’s another to be taken in and genuinely
loved
But that was where he had it right - I guess he always knew From his fathers’ modest reptile park and then
Australia Zoo
We cringed at times and shook our heads - but true to natures call There was something very Irwin in the make up
of us all
Yes the more I care to think of it - the more he had it right If you’re going to make a difference - make
it big and make it bright!
Yes - he was a lunatic! Yes - he went head first! But he made the world feel happy with his energetic burst
A world so large and loyal that it’s hard to comprehend I doubt we truly count the warmth until life meets
an end
To count it now I say a prayer with words of inspiration May the spotlight shine forever on his dream for conservation
My daughter broke the news to me - my six year old in tears It was like she’d just turned old enough to show
her honest fears
I tried to make some sense of it but whilst her Dad was trying His little girl explained it best. She said “The
crocodiles are crying”
Their best mate’s up in heaven now - the crocs up there are smiling! And as sure as flowers, poems and cards
and memories are piling
As sure as we’ll continue with the trademarks of his spiel Of all the tributes worthy - he was rough but he
was real
As sure as ‘Crikey!’ fills the sky I think we’ll miss ya Steve Goodbye

" It's obvious that every man, woman and child
can contribute to the well being of our native wildlife and the planet through simple day-to-day stuff such as recycling,
chemical and pollution awareness, and not wasting water."
I remember when I was young Me and dad had so much fun Climbing trees and skipping stones
I had a couple of lizards And a snake of my own!
But the biggest kick I've ever got Was doing a thing
called the Crocodile Rock While the other kids were playing on the dock We were jumping in the river savin' big ol'
crocs When...
Hold your rocking, something sunk And how your feet just can't keep still I'm always catching
them everytime And I guess I always will
OH BY CRIKEY! It's Friday night! Just grab a croc and hold on
tight, man! Plan on rocking was the way to put things right
Na na na na na na Na na na na na Na na na
na na
Na na na na na na Na na na na na Na na na na na
Me and Terri by my side Taking salties for
a ride Up the river to be safe and sound Cause I know a few places That he won't be found
I could tell
you 'bout the trick we've got When we move around a big ol' croc Wrap the head and watch the tail! That's the
way my dad taught me And it never fails When...

can't keep still I'm always catching them everytime And I guess I always will

I've
been around the world A couple of times or maybe more I've seen the sights, I've had delights On every foreign shore But
when my mates all ask me The place that I adore I tell them right away
Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A
sheep or two, a k-kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair
You can see me in the kitchen Cooking up a roast Or Vegemite
on toast Just you and me, a cup of tea And later on, we'll settle down And go out on the porch And watch the possums
play
Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A
sheep or two, a k-kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair
There's a Safeways up the corner And a Woolies down the street And
a brand new place they've opened up Where they regulate the heat But I'd trade them all tomorrow For a little bush
retreat Where the kookaburras call
Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A
sheep or two, a k-kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair
Some
people like their houses With fences all around Others live in mansions And some beneath the ground But me I
like the bush you know With rabbits running round And a pumpkin vine out the back
Give me a home among the gumtrees With lots of plum trees A
sheep or two, a k-kangaroo A clothesline out the back Verandah out the front And an old rocking chair
