How It Began

In 2002, six Master Masons from the Dallas, Texas area decided to organize Texas Masons who rode motorcycles for the purpose of promoting the Masonic fraternity and participate/sponsor fund raisers benefiting local and Masonic charities.

The MotorCops For Kids fund raiser is sponsored by the Garland Police Department and the local HOG chapter.  The Widows Sons have worked and paticipated in the event every year since 2002.  The event averages $25,000 per year for local and Masonic charities.

The Grand Lodge of Texas does not recognize the Widows Sons of Texas as an approved organization to which Texas Masons can belong.
