This is a lovely woman who was just barely making ends meet.
Well, not making them meet actually. She had discontinued cable and was looking at how to bring her phone bill down to bare
minimum.... phones were going to have to go next! Her finances looked so impossible to her that the best dream she could foster
was an extra $100.00 a month. She had a plan. She could live on credit for a few more months, and then could declare bankruptcy.
I asked her, wouldn't it be better for your overall circumstances to increase your income to a livable level instead?
She said, Yes, PLEASE!!!! Within a month she had increased her income by $200.00 a month. In another month we had doubled
that. And within 6 months she still had that extra $400 a month and she's taking in an additional $200.00 a WEEK! How many
times did we multiply her definition of success?
UPDATE:
4/12/05 Things have just kept improving. It's been 10 months, and now she has customers on
a waiting list, she's having to turn people away. She's paid off some major debts, and now we're looking to create income
that has her working smarter, not harder. We want to cut her hours while keeping her income at the same level or better.
