Happy Thanksgiving!
Week 11 Review
Idiots blasted the Bears, 105-40 -- The Bears set a new record for fewest points scored in a game.  Idiots score the most points for the week for the first time this season.

Champions defeat Twisters, 100-83 -- The Champions avenge their early season loss to the Twisters.  Stokley follows his personal best fantasy point output with a big fat goose-egg.

Ruff Ryders top Baratarians, 96-81 -- Ruff Ryders continue with a solid performance.  Baratarians put up points just not enough to topple the top team in the league.

Marauders beat Roughnecks, 93-88 -- With ANY kind of running game the Roughnecks would be a dominate team.  Marauders are not flashy but they keep winining.

Rotohooters outman the Bubba, 88-48 -- For the second week in a row Priest Holmes did not play yet was in the Bubba's lineup.  Questions are beginning to surface.

Week 12 Looking ahead
Rotohooters vs. Baratarians -- Grudgematch.  Peyton is so hot he could put up 50 fantasy points in one game.  Rotohooters look to continue their five-game winning streak.

the Bubba vs. Bears -- Loser is eliminated from playoffs.  We wonder which team will show up.

Idiots vs. Roughnecks -- Idiots are looking to shore up a playoff spot, Roughnecks are hoping to not be eliminated.  Should be a good game.

Twisters vs. Ruff Ryders -- Twisters are down with the injury bug.  Their players are dropping like flies.  Any win here out for the twisters must be considered a gift.

Champions vs. Marauders -- Lots riding on this game.  Whoever wins this game is all but a lock for the playoffs. Loser is not out, but will need some help to make it in.

Playoff Picture!!!
With two weeks remaining in the regular season here is the playoff picture:

The Rotohooters and The Ruff Ryders have clinched a playoff spot.

The Ryders  can clinch the Western Division Title and the #1 seed with a win or a Marauders loss or not be outscored by the Marauders by more than 79 points. The Hooters can clinch the division with one win.

The Champions can win the division with two wins and a loss by the Rotohooters.  The Hooters beat the Champions twice this season and hold the tiebreaker.

For the Marauders to win the division they have to win their remaining two games and have the Ruff Ryders lose their remaing two games and the Marauders must outscore the Ruff Ryders by 80 points over those two games.

The Marauders, Idiots and Champions are fighting for the last two playoff spots. The Marauders and Idiots split their series but hold a 79 point advantage in total points over the Idiots.

The Marauders and Champions play this week.  If The Marauders win they clinch a playoff spot.  If the Marauders win two games and do not win the division they clinch the #3 playoff seed.

The Champions clinch a playoff spot with two wins or one win a nd a loss by the Idiots. The Champions already beat the Idiots and with a win this week would have the tie-breaker over the Marauders.

The Idiots must win their remaining two games and have the Champions lose one or the Marauders loose two

For The Baratarians, Roughnecks, Twisters, Bears, and Bubba it is simple lose this week and you are out or if the Champions and Idiots each win one game you are out.

Remember if there are more than two teams tied for the post-season or postseason seeding and each team has not played the same numer of games vs each other total points scored is the first tiebreaker.

And the weekly posts have resumed...
Week 10 Rewind
Ruff Ryders defeat Bears, 120-66 With SEVEN players on BYE (including starting TE) The Ryders roll back into form with an impressive outing.

Idiots outlast Marauders, 118-109 Going into Monday Night the Idiots had a comfortable 118-78 win in the bag, T.O.'s 31 mad this A LOT closer, but the Idiots hold on in an close one.

Rotohooters dismiss Twisters, 109-67 If you took away all the 'Hooters players other than Manning, Tiki and Corey Dillon they would have still won 68-67.  Too bad for the Twisters the Hooters also had Dallas Clark's 22 and 19 points from the rest of the roster.

Baratarians overtake the Bubba, 90-88 If you were going into Monday night leading 88-65 and the other guy just has his TE going, you'd feel pretty comfortable, right? Well if you were the Bubba and did that YOU LOSE!  This a prime example in why we call it the Monday Night Party League.

Champions eek by Roughnecks, 84-81 - Roughnecks come into Monday leading 76-54 AND have Keyshawn Johnson going.  Only The Champions have D-Mac going against the Cowboys.  I think I was the only person watching the game after the 2:00 warning because I KNEW that Keyshawn was going to get a 15 yard TD and ruin my night.  Good thing that didn't happen.

Week Eleven Picks and thoughts
Champions(5-5) vs. Twisters(4-6) The Twisters have their #1 Player back from bye in Antonio Gates.  Champions look to avenge the earlier 116-69 beating the Twisters handed them in week five.  Projection: Champions 89-85
Idiots(5-5) vs. Bears(4-6) Both teams are averaging 81 points per game on the season. However, the Idiots are averaging 98 ppg over their last three games while in the same span the Bears are only averaging 71.  Projection: Idiots 95-77

Marauders(6-4) vs. Roughnecks(4-6) The Roughnecks are having a good season, they just haven't had the breakout win.  The Marauders however have put up over 100 points in their last two (but losing both!)  Either the Roughnecks continue the streak and become the 4th straight opponent to put up 100+ vs the Marauders or the Marauders will run away with it.  I'd bet on the latter Projection: Marauders 90-72

Rotohooters(6-4) vs. the Bubba(4-6) Hooters have put up over 100 in their last two.  Look for the Hooters to continue the streak Projection: Hooters 99-80

Baratarians(4-6) vs. Ruff Ryders(8-2) Ryders look to have recovered from their short dry spell. Projection: Ryders 92-83

Thoughts and Notes:
Power Poll has been updated and I hope there will be no other issues with the site.
With three weeks left until the Playoffs only the Ryff Ryders can clinch a spot in the playoffs with a win this week.  With a Win and a Marauders loss they clinch the West Division.  For everyone else, the playoffs start now! A loss doesn't knock anyone out, but with so many teams so close one loss would be tough to overcome

Quick FYI for Tiebreakers(from ESPN rules page):
Tiebreakers for Division Championship/Playoff Seeding
In the event that two or more teams have identical won-loss records at the conclusion of the FFL regular season, and have played the same number of head-to-head games between them, the following tiebreaking system is employed:
1 - Overall record *
2 - Head-to-head record **
3 - Overall points
4 - Head-to-head points
5 - Division record
6 - Overall points-against
* Note that Overall record is based on winning percentage. Therefore, a team that is 8-5-0 and a team that is 7-4-2 have the same winning percentage, and thus would be considered tied for overall record.
** Note that head-to-head record is based on the number of weeks won or lost during the season. If Team A defeated Team B 88-60 and then lost to Team B 92-91, their head-to-head record would be 1-1. The number of points scored in these games would be taken into consideration only if tiebreaker No.4 -- head-to-head points -- is necessary.
In the event that three or more teams have identical won-loss records at the conclusion of the season and have played a different number of head-to-head games between them, head-to-head records are not used as a tiebreaker. Instead, the following tiebreaking system is employed:
1 - Overall record
2 - Overall points
3 - Division record
4 - Overall points-against
Note: If there is a tie between three or more teams, and one team advances out of the tiebreaker, the remaining teams are then compared starting at the beginning of the tiebreaking formula until all ties are settled.
