Had a good run last night.  When I got on Dej had been putting together a ST group.  We had his druid buddy Marcus, Stab came along to help, Pinna priest also came to help us out.  We kicked some butt in ST!  I got a nice new polearm and cloak from drops and a new helm from finishing the Hakkar quest.  We killed the sleeping dragon and got another trinket (total trinkets now 11).  We took out Hakkar, Jam and the sleeping dragon (I only had the Hakkar quest, I had done Jam before).  Anyway we had a blast, most of us got something new, all of us got to kill a few dragons, only Dej and I died (oops!)  and it was fun working with Marcus again.  We didn't get to do all the quests there due to the time it takes to run all the quests there and Stab had only a limited amount of time, so we hit the big ones and saved the small ones for later.  After we did the Hakkar turn-in Dej and I went to Felwood to continue those quests.  I helped him get the corrupted source then we hit the Toxic Horrors.  While we were doing the horrors there were a few horde running around.  I messed up and buffed a PVP flagged rogue and became flagged.  The 60 Hunter and 60 Shaman made quick work of me. But we finished our quests, did the turn-ins and camped in Everlook.

Where do I cash in my frequent flyer points?  Good Grief! Last night I did more flying around than anything else.  Here was my evening:
Started in Everlook, Stab told me that he had the mats to but +70 AC on my cloak, so I stoned to IF to get that.  Organized my bags and stuff in IF, then took the bird to Menethril Harbor.
From MH I flew to Feralas and rode north to get the elixer (few sub steps, not that important) Got V. Elixer and then rode back to bird to fly to Winterspring -- There is no direct route from Feralas to Winterspring (or Felwood) so I had to fly to Auberdine
Flew from Aub to Felwood (shorter run after the flight) Did V. Elixer turn-in.  Got next part of quest, had to go to Tanaris.  Rode to bird, flew to Aub then to Telen, then to Gadget. 

Outside Gagdet I had to run to the graveyard, take elixer, then talk to a ghost.  After I did that I had to rez, and get sword from gravestone then go to Linken in Un'Goro.  Took bird from Gadget to Silithus then rode from Valor's Rest to the camp in Un'G.  Did turn-ins then rode back to Valor's Rest.  At this point I got REALLY tired of flying around so I decided to do the quest that I had in Silithus, killing the druids and sentenals.  They were a pain too.  I'd take one out (they were anywhere from 55 to 57) and one or two wasp drones would spawn!  It was good XP (over 625 with rest bonus) for each one.  I did go through A LOT of food and drink soloing those.  Anyhow, I finished that then got back on the bird, flew to Felwood (had to go to Gadget the Telen, then Aub to get there)  That is at least a DOZEN flights and I am STILL not done with this quest series! 

 

Once I finally got to Felwood, I had to get 11 Silver Charms and an Ironwood Heart.  That wasn't too bad.  All the mobs were around level 50 so I took the time to work on my 2H sword skill.  I also did a bit of mining while running around Felwood (not a bad place for Thorium).  On the way back to the Quest NPC (after getting the heart) I noticed that I was about 100 XP from level 57.  I dis-mounted and took out the first XP giving mob I saw, well it felt the business end of the sword and now I am 57! (three more to go!)  I did the quest turn-in then rode to Ashenvale (to get on the bird...) and camped in the inn there.

I have just a few more parts to the Linken (boomerang) quest.  I need to turn in the stuff to an elemental I summon in Tanaris, then go BACK to Un'Goro to J.D. Collie.  Then I have to fight Blazerunner, bad ass fire elemental on top of the volcano in Un'Goro.  I'll need help to do that part.  So for the evening I had a net zero move in my quest log (for each one I finished, I got another)  I am closer to being finished with one REALLY long one.

 

Stuff I wanna complete soon:
Finish the Bomerang quests
Finish the Winterspring quests
Finish Sunken Temple (or delete the remaining quests)
Finish BRD (I have many quests to on the outside that I could solo there for a bit)
Hit Dire Maul (I have a couple quests for there already)

All that stuff will last through 60.  I have no doubt.  Plus once I hit 60 I see Scholo, Strat, UBRS, LBRS and many other raid places opening up for me.  Once I do that, I will have to re-spec to prot/holy/ret but that is a re-spec I am looking forward to.
