Let me see, I didn't play last night so I could watch the football game.  I did play some Wednesday night.  I hooked up with Dej and we worked on several of the EPL quests.  Just a lot of bats, slugs, wolves, and such, nothing special.  I am 75% to 60 so it should not be a stretch to get 60 this weekend, maybe even tonight depending on how many quests I finish

I finished the first "Are we ther Yeti" quest last night.  Kaboom came on and was looking for something to do since he was in the same zone.  That quest is fun with a 60 mage.  I'd go round up five or so Yeti and he'd AoE nuke them into submission.  (Also good that the mage is Ice specced).  I finally got the last of the needed furs then went to take out the high chief.  That was really easy.  Then the zone crashed.  I hope that Kaboom got out ok, because where he was standing when the server reset, well he would have company as soon as he logs in.  After I got back on, there was a guild group trying to do the Last Barov quest.  We couldn't finish it because there was a large party of chicken horde hanging around the quest mob.  What happens with this quest is we are to take down the last Barov, but he is PVP flagged and a difficult fight.  So when we attack him, we are PVP flagged, the horde wait until we are engaged in fighting the mob then they flag PVP and attack us.  If they flagged prior to the fight we would take them down in a hurry, but the way they were doing it we didn't stand a chance.  We did get two honorable kills from it.

 

We didn't do anything else, the Horde wouldn't fight us and I was getting tired so I called it an early night.  I am close to 50% in the level and hope to get 60 this weekend.

:::6 September 2005:::
Had an interesting weekend, Friday night started good, I got with Lorely, Miji, Deedra and a few others to take down Araj the Summoner to get the last part of my Scholomance key and a few other items.  We had fun and hit several other things for the group. 

 

After we did all we could we went on my first UBRS (Beast) run.  it was my largest raid to date (we had 13 people on the raid and mostly guildies)  I spent the majority of the time buffing people with Kings/Salvation.  There were only two Pallies (me and Deedra) on the raid so we were busy.  The raid was a success, we hit all the targets we wanted with no total wipes.  Miji did a great job in running the whole thing.  I got a new AoE hammer (nice DPS too boot!)  We were there really late (I think we took down the General at 3:00am CDT.  Once they said that was it, I stoned to IF and logged guilckly. 

 

Saturday night I logged in for a brief time to work in Buring Steeps. I finished the Firegut quest series, the Fifty, YEP! quest and dinged 59! 

 

Sunday was a short night, just got on to work on engineering (up to 278) and sell what I could.  My bankroll is over 120GP now.

 

Monday night I logged and and got one of Jovis's Ninja Invites (you get an invite before you get logged in good) They were going to DM and were looking for a 5th, I was happy to go.  Our group was Jovis, Tealy, Dalak, Kaboom and me.  We hit most of the named, had a fun time, no one died, but the loot was not that great :(  I did get to finish two DM quests, got some good XP and some things to sell.  I am about 30% to 60 and have rested xp bonus all the way to 60. 

 

I have been thinking about my upcomming re-spec.  More and more I am seeing that I am the one to bring Blessing of Kings to a raid.  I think that I will have to keep that one.  I don't know is an 11/9/31 would be worth anything.  I will have to work with some talent calcs and see what I can do.

 

Anyhow, 60 is getting closer and closer and I am excited.
