:::21 November 2005:::
I didn't do much in game this weekend, I had my in-laws staying with us so
I had to be the gracious host and not spend all my time on the computer. What little time I did play was on Ghaani.
I re-specced Sam (again) after I did some research on pet talents and picked up Prowl (a nice rogue like ability where the
pet will be stealthed and the first attack coming out of stealth receives a nice bonus.) I lowered his HP but increased
his AC and resists plus Prowl he should be able to take the mobs down faster. I did get Ghaani to 55 (finally!)
Now I might be able to get into some higher end runs. I do need to take Guuinnes out and farm the crap out of Thorium.
Ghaani goes through A LOT of Thorium tipped arrows and at 1 GP per stack of 200 it is quite pricey (especially when Ghaani
currently has 1GP and change).
For grinding sake I should take Ghaani into Maraudon. She has a quest that looks like she can complete without
really going inside the zone. I always liked that zone, I hope I can spend more time there.
Tonight should be another DM North Tribute run. I hope so, I'd like to be able to kick it's butt again and see
more stuff drop for the rest of the party. If we can't do that, I will ask to do a BRD run for getting Ony keys (I missed
another raid last night because I didn't have that key).
Guu is one more Thorium Bar away from completing the "Collection of Goods" quest. Dejah has the materials and just
waiting on the timer to make more (you can only make one bar per 24 hours - that sucks!) Once I get that done and pick
up some "enchanted mana feed" I can get to the final fight and get my CHARGER! For that fight I have found out the more
Paladins, the better. A party of Pally, Pally, Pally, Priest, Mage/Rogue works great. The final fight is in Strat
so a Pally tank is not a bad thing. Also, the last fight is designed for Paladins where a certain judgement causes an
AoE Stun and Damage. The more paladins you have the better able you are to have everything "stun-locked" and make it
an easy fight.
