Damn Queue!
:::17 January 2006:::
I HATE LOG-IN QUEUES!!!! Every night when I finally get to log in I have to wait anywhere between 15 min to an hour before I can log in.  Nearly every server is full, not that I want to start a new character or anything, but this is just plain STUPID.

When I FINALLY get in I am having fun.  Ghaani is progressing nicely in the PVP ranks.  Saturday night I logged in with her and in the span of just a few hours I had racked up over 200 HK's and amassed well over 15K honor points.  For the week she is over 21K honor.  Before the Tuesday maintenance she was a Sergeant Major, I wonder how far she will go this week.  It would be nice to go up a couple ranks.  One thing that REALLY helped is I started working on some macros for her.  I put one together that allows me to put my ranged attack skills on the first page of the action bar and my melee skills on the second page.  The macro will switch the pages and switch which aspect I have on (Hawk for ranged and Monkee for melee).  The first hour of Saturday Night was CRAZY.  I logged in, put myself in the BG queues (Arathi Basin, Warsong Gulch, and Alterac Valley), AB popped almost immediately. I went in there, got about five kills and the AB was over.  As soon as I got back to IF, WSG popped, I went in there, and we won in about 10 min (there were not enough horde to really fight), another AB popped, it went fast, back to IF, then WSG popped again. We did another WSG after that.  I had over 90 kills in a little over an hour and had very little wait time.  Which was funny because I NEEDED some wait time to fine tune my macros.  Finally, the Horde quit going to WSG so I had some time to go to Burning Steeps to fine tune the macros.  I spent about an hour there getting them tuned when AV popped.  OMG! AV is crazy!  You have so many people running around killing everything.  AV battles can last for DAYS I was there for about an hour got 108 kills and had to log.  I was so out-classed it wasn't even funny.  The only way I could get some kills was to stay to the outside and pick off the wounded.  There were so many people running around in there it was hard for my machine to keep up. It really was crazy.  I did get a lot of Honor and I can't wait to see the new rankings.  Sunday Night I went to Winterspring and picked up a polar bear for PVE fighting (he is pretty tough).  I named him Iceberg after the big polar bear in Everfrost from EQ.  It is nice that he eats anything and I can spend his talent points in a much better fashion.  I still want to get a wolf for PVE for his buff, but the bear will do until then.  I will get me a Winterspring Saber to replace Sam, so I can build him correctly.  I also did some questing in Winterspring and dinged 58.  I have three quests that are ready to turn in, in East/West Plaguelands so I will get a nice XP boost to start the evening.  I really am thinking about changing Ghaani from an herbalist to engineer and go the gnomish route.  This will make it a bit less costly when getting ammo, and I can get Guuinnes to make some XL Goblin Jumper Cables to make Ghaani a raid lifesaver (Feign/Jumpercables FTW)

The Monday Night Crew got back together last night.  We hit Scholo.  I could tell we are were a bit rusty, but we pulled through.  We had a few deaths to start, but once we got going, we found our groove.  It was crappy that we didn't have a Vent channel to use, but it was still nice to get together and lay waste to Scholo.  We cleared the zone.  As soon as I get Ghaani to 60 I will ask to bring Ghaani to the MNC events.  There would be a definite reduction in healing but a huge increase in DPS.

Guild wise, TE has CLEARED ZG.  We killed Jindo last night.  Now there is no mob in the zone we have not killed.  We are getting better at Vael, still have not beaten him, but we are seeing how to get it done.  I bet we get him down before the end of the month.  Razorgore is now just a speed bump.  We take him down like Rag now.  Wednesday is our next BWL night so it should be fun.  Tonight is ZG night (woohoo reset!) I hope to get some goodies from there. (if I can get in...)

This is just my place to post my happenings in my on line gaming.
Currently I am playing World of Warcraft.  I am on the Gomeregan server. I am once again playing my Human Paladin. He has been moved from Elune and renamed Gabbath. He is once again main character. I also have Ghaan my Night Elf Hunter, a Blood Elf Priest Volto and a Dwarf Warrior Guuinnes who has been retired. Also on Gnomer, I have Gumule (Bank mule), Laarz (Draeni Shaman) and Phantsi (horde Bank mule). Each of those I just created to hold the name. On the Elune server I have Ghaani, a Night Elf Hunter, who is begging to be played. I also have Kiita a night elf druid I made for my daughter and Gruumpi, a Troll rogue I made for my son. I also have Zozan, a Human Mage who is basically a mule.
Ghaani was my first character in WoW. Ghaani was my Ranger in EQ before I played WoW, but you can read all about that in the blog. Ghaani and Gabbath started on Elune, Gabbath was named Guuinnes on Elune and had his name changed when I moved him to Gnomeregan.
My alliance characters are members of the guild Fatal Nemesis
