Has it been a month since my last update?  Wow it has.  Let me see, no real progression updates.  TE has downed Chromag a few more times but has yet to mount a serious attempt at Nef (read: survived past phase one).  We are rebuilding our raid ranks as we have lost several members.  One of the members that we lost was my friend Maura.  She had to leave the guild due to personal reasons.  I really hate that she had to leave, but I have talked with her and I understand.  I hope that everything works out for her as best as it can.

 

Guuinnes has obtained really just two upgrades recently.  The first was the cloak from BWL (+int, +healing, best healer cloak in the game atm).  The second was the Magistars Defender from Rag (actually got it last night) which is the 2nd best Pally shield in game atm (Red Dragonscale Defender from Vael is the best)

 

I have been doing more and more with Ghaani.  She is getting closer to being Ony-keyed.  Tonight we should make more progress towards that.  She picked up a Wolf from LBRS for her new group pet.  He still needs a name and some levels before he can dish out the damage.  She now has Black Dragonscale Shoulders and Chestpeices.  They add quite a bit of attakc power as well as Fire Resists it is amazing that they can provide any protection as little skin as they cover...

The Monday Night Crew had a major victory last night.  We put together our first fill 10-man run through UBRS.  The run was to get Laurel and Ghaani their Drakk's blood for the Ony key, and to kick some serious butt.  I have to say we were successful on all accounts.  The raid consisted of the regular MNC (Dejah, Stabum, Thac, Laurel, Ghaani-me) with Jovis on his Warrior Hindar, Tealy, Mathias (on his rogue) were the core and we added a druid from Stab/Tealy's guild and Birdsaint a paladin from TE.  Before the run we met in STV so I could turn in the Hakkar Heart and get everyone the buff (Bird wasn't there and Ghaani couldn't get it).  We then made a quick dash to UBRS.  Thac and Tealy both left their keys in the bank, so we had some added delay.  Then Tealy decided to take a swim in the lava further delaying our entry.  We finally got rolling and we kicked BUTT!  We had no trouble until we got outside the Beast's area.  The pulls there are a bit tough.  We did have everything that could go wrong go wrong too.  We recovered and moved on to the Beast - who was a lot easier than the room before him.  We then cleared up to Drak.  They have removed some mobs so it was not a big issue, just working together like we do.  Our first attempt at Drak was messy.  The guard that we wanted to control resisted everything.  We finally got one down but we were running out of people.  Finally the conflag was too much and we died.  Tealy was able to sneak back in and we recovered.  The second, and final, attempt we used the "Ghaani pull Drak out of the room"  method.  That worked great!  I was able to pull the big guy out of the room and onto the bridge and ping pong him long enough for them to take down both Dragon guards.  The Drak fight was nothing after that.  Laurel and Ghaani got their Dragon Blood. Tealy got an upgrade, actually, most everyone got something during the run.  Ghaani got a +crit neck and some Flame Walker boots (her unbuffed Fire Resist is now 108! She can now raid MC!)  Afterwards, Laurel, Thac and I (on Ghaani) went back to Winterspring to do the final turn in.  We cleared our way through the cave and had an easy turn in to end the night.
