Weekend Update
:::14 August 2006:::
What a difference a weekend makes.  I had a very nice chat with the guild leader of Orpheus.  It looks like that is the guild I should have been in all the time.  They are not the top guild on the server but they are a close.  Many of the hard core raiders of Orpheus got to 60 and went to Legacy (the top guild).  The Orpheus remains are hitting Blackrock now.  Orpheus reminds me of what Mithril Web used to be.  Anyhow, Little G is now in Orpheus.  I also got Laurellita in Orpheus as well.  Last night we talked about the total newbness of BE.  She got tired of having to tell people how to get to Menethil Harbor and all the other "what is XXX" or how do I XXX" questions.  She is level 18 now (or that is what she was when I logged off last night).  It is nice to be in a guild that can assist us rather than the primary source of assistance.

G is 27 and FINISHED with the quests in Darkmines, Redridge and the Stockades.  I have also completed the first level of quests in Darkshire.  I still need to hit some of the Wetlands quests and move into Arathi Highlands.  I would think that my progress is not bad in just over two days of total played time.

I am noticing the lack of survivability as a warrior.  At this level a Paladin can accomplish a greater deal of solo tasks than a warrior can.  I am having to max my damage output as much as possible so when I do have multiple mobs on me I cut them down before they cut me down.  For example, last night I was finishing up the Redridge quests and went to take down one of the towers.  Anytime I had multiple mobs on me I really had to work hard to win the fight.  I was able to survive if I was taking on up to three mobs that were equal to my level and -1 or more.  Now when I moved to the other tower that was guarded by the Orcs, elite orcs that is. I could not survive an attack by two even though they were a few levels below me.  It almost makes me want to start alchemy to have enough potions to increase my survivability.

Gear wise, I am getting more blue items.  I have picked up the two best warrior rings (for my level) and I have obtained a blue bracer, legs, and cloak.  I bought a nice new 2H Sword.  It is over 20 DPS base and has + Defense.  It is the highest damage weapon in my bags so I use it most often.  I did loot a blue dagger last night off a rare named mob.  I know it looks silly for a Warrior to be using a dagger, but it has the most DPS of any weapon that I can equip in my off-hand.  I probably should have sold it (would have made a nice profit) but I wanted to use it.  Anyhow I am getting gear upgrades.  It won't be long before I get my first helm.  I really NEED to work on the Fire Hardened Mail quests so I can get those upgrades.  If the MNC doesn't run tonight I will work on that.

This is just my place to post my happenings in my on line gaming.
Currently I am playing World of Warcraft.  I am on the Gomeregan server. I am once again playing my Human Paladin. He has been moved from Elune and renamed Gabbath. He is once again main character. I also have Ghaan my Night Elf Hunter, a Blood Elf Priest Volto and a Dwarf Warrior Guuinnes who has been retired. Also on Gnomer, I have Gumule (Bank mule), Laarz (Draeni Shaman) and Phantsi (horde Bank mule). Each of those I just created to hold the name. On the Elune server I have Ghaani, a Night Elf Hunter, who is begging to be played. I also have Kiita a night elf druid I made for my daughter and Gruumpi, a Troll rogue I made for my son. I also have Zozan, a Human Mage who is basically a mule.
Ghaani was my first character in WoW. Ghaani was my Ranger in EQ before I played WoW, but you can read all about that in the blog. Ghaani and Gabbath started on Elune, Gabbath was named Guuinnes on Elune and had his name changed when I moved him to Gnomeregan.
My alliance characters are members of the guild Fatal Nemesis
