WoW to WOW!
:::11 December 2006::: My WoW is now WOW!!!!! On Thursday my new computer arrived. I finally
moved up to an AMDx2 system with 1GB RAM and a nice 256MB GeForce video card. I installed WoW fresh and then downloaded
the patches (just had to get two, so it wasn't that bad). That left me with a very plain game with no add-ons. I
picked up the main ones that I NEEDED to have and started playing. I have to say that I don't know how I played on my
old system. I now can run through Ironforge or Stormwind with ZERO lag and I have my graphics set to a very high level.
The graphics are amazing! I really like my new system. I need to get Photoshop and my other utilities installed
so I can re-do the pics I use for this website, signatures and such.
Things are starting to settle down from Patch
Day 2.0.1. Over the weekend I was able to get the CT_Bar mod (I really, really, really, like this mod and hate the base
Bliz bar mod). I am still working on macros, but that is an on-going learning process.
I did re-spec to Arms
from DW Fury over the weekend. I noticed a major reduction in my DPS after the patch since my gear wasn't what was needed
to really go fury. I am glad that I had a couple decent 2h weapons in the bank so I am not totally gimped. Now
my DPS will have peaks and valleys but there are times when I really put out some hurt. I can't wait until I get some
better gear to take advantage of the spec.
Friday we went to MC (I was a little late so I missed some drops) but we
cleared up to Domo. Saturday I was able to get in the ZG run on Saturday and was able to get quite a few upgrades. I
need to get my rep to honored and I will get a new belt (one that is much better for DPS than the one I currently have). I
did get the ZG Warrior bracer, new gloves (that are DPS positive), the DPS Jindo band, and Bloodstained boots (they are more
for tanking, but an upgrade). So it was a really good run for me. Last night we hit BWL. We had a little
hiccup at the start due to CT_RaidMod but once everyone got the updated one we were able to begin. We took down Razor
then hit Vael. Vael went down in under two min. Only our first two tanks got BA, and the third tank couldn't believe
where we were when he took over. We started clearing towards the Suppression room when the server hosed and was reset.
We finally got everyone back up and online to continue. We made very good work through the first part of the SR
but we took too long on the steps and wiped the raid by pulling too many whelps with us. It was a good learning experience
for the raid. Instead of trying the SR again, we went and knocked off Ony. Tonight after we take down Domo and
Rag we might hit Broodlord.
I have decided that when transfers are open I am definitely moving Ghaani over. She
is geared just a little bit better than our current hunters, but not by much (I still need to finish her Rok quest, we have
two that have completed the quests)
I did start doing some PVP with Little G. I understand that I won't be a
PVP god, but I will do guild PVP when not raiding because some of the PVP rewards are VERY NICE!

This is just my place to post my happenings in my on line gaming.
Currently I am playing World of Warcraft. I am on the Gomeregan server. I am once again playing my Human Paladin.
He has been moved from Elune and renamed Gabbath. He is once again main character. I also have Ghaan my Night
Elf Hunter, a Blood Elf Priest Volto and a Dwarf Warrior Guuinnes who has been retired. Also on Gnomer, I have
Gumule (Bank mule), Laarz (Draeni Shaman) and Phantsi (horde Bank mule). Each of those I just created to hold the name.
On the Elune server I have Ghaani, a Night Elf Hunter, who is begging to be played. I also have Kiita a night elf druid I made for my daughter and Gruumpi,
a Troll rogue I made for my son. I also have Zozan, a Human Mage who is basically a mule.
Ghaani was my first character in WoW. Ghaani was my Ranger in EQ before I played WoW, but you can read all about that in
the blog. Ghaani and Gabbath started on Elune, Gabbath was named Guuinnes on Elune and had his name changed when I moved
him to Gnomeregan.
