This is a terrific web site that has a lot of information on specific questioning techniques to use such as K-AW-L, Think Aloud, and DRT. In fact I believe every strategy mentioned in our text is on this site. There are also a lot of links that lead to many more resources.

This is a web site created by the librarian at the St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, Austin, TX. It explains and gives examples for the four types of questions: memory, divergent, convergent, and evaluative. The material is based on an article by Angela Ciardiello (1998).

This website is created by Jamie McKenzie. She has authored a book on questioning and part of what is on the site is from the book. The May issue is on assessing growth in questioning. There are links to lessons using questioning.
