Recovery does not mean giving up who you are -
It means letting go of who you are not.
(Claudia Black)
In times of difficulty, you
may feel that your problems will go on and on, but they won't. Every mountain has a top, every problem has a life span. The
question is, who is going to give in first, the frustration or you? (Dr. Robert Schuller)
It's easier to build
a child than repair an adult.
Maybe . . the happiest of people don't
necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the most of everything that comes along their way.
There are no problems. I
don't believe in problems anymore. What we call problems are nothing more than decisions. Decisions that we didn't make and
if that's the case, then decisions that we have to make now. And, that's the basis for tremendous optimism, because if problems
aren't problems, but they're just decisions that have to be made, wow! That means I can be optimistic because I can make a
decision until I'm dead! I can choose my reaction. (Dr. Robert Schuller)

Two Wolves
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside all people. He said, "My son,
the battle is between two "wolves" inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed,
arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope,
serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought
about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one
you feed."
