I have been providing substance abuse counseling since the year 2000, in a variety of settings (private & non-profit, inpatient & outpatient) and psychotherapy since 2002 also in various settings (private, non-profit, outpatient). Since September of 2006, I have had a private practice as well as working as the Clinical Coordinator for the Teen Scene Outpatient Program in Agoura Hills.

Prior to that I was in the medical field for well over 30 years. My background includes having been a hospital administrator, director of operations for a 13 doctor multispecialty medical group, administrator of a psychiatric/biofeedback clinic and many other physician's offices as well as a phlebotomist and medical assistant when I was first starting out.

My late father was a psychologist who had the opportunity of working with many distinguished others such as Irving Wexler and William Glasser. My late mother also had a degree in psychology and worked for several years for a psychiatrist. As you can surmise, I have been immersed in the psychology and medical fields all of my life. From when I was a young child, it was my dream to help others to live happy and healthy lives, fulfill their potential and continue to grow as people.
