VIDEO CLIPS

	Here are some video clips of projects I've worked on. Please keep in mind that these clips are just small snippets of my work with video and audio compression to try and keep them to a reasonable size. If you are interested in seeing more of my work in full DVD fidelity, you can request a demo DVD. Thanks! Note: The WMV videos require at least Windows Media Player 9. The QuickTime videos are targeted for QuickTime 6.5 or better. The WMV videos are streaming and should start buffering right away. The QuickTime videos take a little longer to get going, so please be patient! I recommend having broadband access if you want to play any of the videos, because the file sizes are reasonably big. Also, please note that I compressed the video significantly and the audio to a lesser degree in order to make the file sizes more manageable.
			"Endangered Species" Endangered Species is an animated short by BAFTA award-winning director Tony White. It tells the tale of the rise and fall of hand-drawn animation in the 20th Century. My score for this film won me a "Gold Medal for Excellence" in the "Best Impact of Music in a Short Film" category of the 2007 Park City Film Music Festival.

			"March of the Martians" & "Prologue" from "H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" WMV This is the Main Title and Prologue from the 2005 independent film, H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds. This piece is completely computer generated.

			Opening Title from the television show "About Us" WMV QuickTime This is the main title music that I composed for the KCTS (PBS Seattle) television series “About Us". The series is an independent filmmaker showcase highlighting topics and experiences that are distinctive to the Pacific Northwest. This music is played over the introduction to the program, which is a montage of people and locations from the films being showcased. The series is currently running several times a week on KCTS. This piece is completely computer generated.

			Trailer for "H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" This is the original trailer for H.G. Wells' the War of the Worlds. It is scored entirely with music that I wrote for the film.

			"The Departure" from "H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" This is a scene from H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds. In this scene, the wife pleads with the writer not to leave, but his sense of duty prevails as he has promised to return the cart after using it. This piece is completely computer generated.

			"Stranglehold on a Heart": 2004 TCM YFCC Finalist-Awarded Entry WMV QuickTime This was my entry in the 2004 Turner Classic Movies Young Film Composers Competition. It was selected, out of over 600 entries nationally, as one of 5 finalist entries. The video clip is part of a silent film from the 1920's entitled "The Temptress". This piece is completely computer generated.

			"The Last Supper of Fontenoy": 2004 TCM YFCC 2nd-Runner Up Entry WMV This was my finalist entry in the 2004 Turner Classic Movies Young Film Composers Competition. It was awarded the 2nd-runner up prize. The video clip is part of a 1920's silent film entitled "The Temptress". This piece is completely computer generated.

			"The Writer Mourns" from "H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds" In this scene from H.G. Wells' The War of the Worlds, the writer and curate attempt to hide from the attacking martians in an abandoned house. While hiding, the writer mourns that he decided to leave his wife during this time of chaos. This piece is completely computer generated.
