This morning I woke up to the sound of rain hitting against my window! I thought surely I must be dreaming.
I can't even remember when it ever rained in September last!
But I'm not complaining, we need the rain as we have had some pretty dry winters of late.
This is the perfect morning to work on some household projects because if it were beautiful and sunny out, I would brush
those projects aside and get on my bike for a ride. Actually, if it clears up later I can still go for a quick
one. Mornings like this can also be a really good time for researching those day trips that I want to
do from Venice.
It's funny how the weather can affect your demeanor. Rain makes me feel mellow . . . and sunshine makes me
feel energized.
Well, I'll put some mellow Zucchero on and get working on clearing out my guest rooms. I have to get that done
before December!
