Located where the Arlington Prairie meets the Wisconsin River Valley, Lodi is a picturesque location for sheep production.
Our family has been raising sheep in this area for four generations, all the way back to the pre-World War II era. Many
different breeds have been raised on this land over the years, including numerous state and national champion animals.
Glenn and Duane Richards have passed their knowledge and experience onto their children, grand children, and great-grand children
who now follow in their footsteps under their guidance.
We invite you to take a look around, and see what is currently taking place at our farms. We now breed Targhee
and Southdown sheep, and raise a few market lambs as 4-H projects. Our breeding focuses on characteristics specific
for the breeds - fine wool, correct confirmation, well-muscled frame, and reproductive proficiency.
