Asian Pacific American Legal Center (APALC) Position
APALC seeks a project director for their Immigrant Rights Project. The Immigrant Rights Project focuses on immigrant
rights issues affecting Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders, including health and welfare issues at the state and local
level and immigration reform issues at the national level. The ideal applicant will be an experienced advocate with

Another APALC Position
APALC is currently seeking an intern to assist with client intakes in their Asian Language Legal Intake Project (ALLIP)
unit, which provides legal information, resources, and referrals to limited English speaking community members in
Los Angeles and Orange Counties. They are looking specifically for
a part time intern (minimum of 12+ hours/week) who is fluent in Korean. Among the responsibilities of those in the hotline
position are: conducting initial phone applications and interviews with prospective clients; assessing the client's legal
matters with the assistance and support of an attorney; providing extensive counsel and advice, under the supervision of an
attorney, to clients in their language; provide clients with brief service, where appropriate, with assistance and support
