Welcome Sunset

Hello, and I would like to start by thanking you for stopping by my site. I've put this together to say a little about who I am, and where I'm from. Please look around, I will always be updateing.

My name is Mack, but you probally already know that if you found your way here. I'm one of the newbie 5 WPM Extra's, or Extra Lite's if you prefer. I like to sit and listen to the 75 meter band most nights, and can be found around 3.701, or 3.851 after 9 PM. I try and check in on the early bird net on 3.940 at 5 AM when I can. I also monitor 28.400, 144.200, and 146.500 mostly at night.  Wednesday night at 8 PM is a must to check into the S.W.O.T. net out of Daytona on 144.250. On my days off I spin around the 20 meter band, but there is no where I stop for long.

This is where you'll find me after about 9PM. When the kids go to bed, it's playtime. I left 11 meter in January 06, and started with my Tech ticket. 2 meter FM got boring within a month. I had just left being a avid, agressive DXer, and now was down to repeaters. I started working a little 2 meter SSB, and heard of a group called S.W.O.T., who exepted me and answered lot's of questions. I started studying code, and made "/AG" in July of 06. While I was in study mode I went ahead and got the Extra on 9/11/06. Since then I have became addicted to QTH, QRZ, Eham, and ARRL classifieds. There is always something someone else is tired of that I want. I find HF to be alot like a bad drug, the more you get, the more you want.
