Rainy
Day People
by Susan
C. Haley
This is a story of struggle and resilience. It’s rooted in truth and woven into
a fresh fictional tapestry that embraces all the ageless qualities and maladies innate in the human psyche. Widowed early,
Amber is content, maybe complacent, in solitude. Soothed by a quirky affinity with Nature, and a trust in a larger purpose,
she also has a reckless, belligerent side. Ben is an airline pilot turned successful writer caught up in the glitz of L.A.
and its pitfalls at the cost of family, health, and direction. They meet by chance (or was it?) and embark on a journey neither
was seeking, or prepared for, culminating in an edge-of-the-seat ending that leaves the reader stunned. |

About the Author
A widowed mother of two grown sons, a lover of life, nature, and adventure, Susan Haley turned
a passion for the written word into a purpose and a challenge. With a published nonfiction work and promising reviews under
her belt, she was fortunate enough to meet professional, award-winning writer, Robert Delany. A friendship and writing bond
formed out of what was, initially, a mentoring. Rainy Day People is the heartwarming result. Susan resides and works in Sarasota
on the Gulf Coast of Florida. Mr. Delany, to whom the book is dedicated, passed on shortly after the completion of this work.

A Dark and Stormy Knight
by John D. Wolf
"A Dark and Stormy Knight" Makes history stand up and
deliver.
Split an arrow and see how James I became King.
This
adventure runs the gambit from 1565 to 1569 to establish an heir to the English Crown before Elizabeth passes. Historians
know the salient milestones, but aren’t sure the path taken. This tale combines elements of secret agents and medieval
romance, concerning a time-traveling knight, dispatched to adjust history before it skews. Spies spy, greedy bishops lie,
swords, and archer’s arrows are thrown voraciously into those battle torn days that made history. This story is best
read with a pint of ale in one hand. |

About the Author
John grew up in New Mexico and served in the Air Force during Vietnam. He returned
to his engineering roots and spent 26 years working in the aerospace industry. In the background he continued his love of
music and creative tinkering. John retired in 2005 and took up writing as a way to vent his creative needs.

The Gospel
According to Judas Iscariot
by Peter Leighton
A filmmaker discovers that he wrote a 2000-year-old manuscript…in
a past life as Judas Iscariot. Seeking to share his story, he is sued by a corrupt corporation and pursued by murderous terrorists.
In order to claim the manuscript, he must prove that he really was Judas in a previous life, and so reads to the jury (and
to us) his life with Jesus. A story of transformation in the present as well as the past, he learns about the healing power
of self-forgiveness and our shared divinity. |

About the Author
Leighton, a doctoral candidate with the Spiritual Science program of Peace Theological Seminary
and College of Philosophy, has extensively studied the historical and spiritual literature related to Jesus and biblical times.
“I have always been drawn to the history and spiritual teachings of Jesus, and I wanted to tell the story from the point
of view of Judas, a misunderstood apostle.” Leighton began this project in 1990, and has been delighted to find much
of his research confirmed by recent events – the discovery of a Judas Gospel in Egypt. |

The Phoenix Heart
by Cy Vaughn
Two renowned heart surgeons race to develop the artificial heart. One for the benefit of mankind,
the other for Das Adlerherzorden (Order of the Eagle Heart), a syndicate linked to ex-Nazis: purveyors of human organs and
art looted during WWII. |

About the Author
Dr. Cy Vaughn was the first surgeon in the world to implant an artificial heart as treatment
for heart transplant rejection. His use of the unapproved Phoenix Heart in 1985 ignited a global firestorm of ethical controversy
that was chronicled in the national and international press. Under intensive FDA investigation, he avowed, “I answer
to a higher power than the FDA.” The pioneering Phoenix Heart implementation validated the use of the artificial heart
as a bridge to transplantation and helped shape the future of cardiac replacement. Dr. Vaughn lives in Phoenix with his wife,
Barbara, and is working on his next novel.
