Staff's Choice As we get ready to close 2007 and bring in the New Year, we like to say thank you and wish you happy holidays.

Thanks to your actions and support, the Network team saved animals from the cruelty of puppy mills, brought awareness to the brutal world of animal fighting, made a difference in natural disaster areas, and rescued pets in New York, Nevada, Virginia, and Nebraska. With your help and the support of some great partnerships, we accomplished all this and more.

Many more challenges await us in 2008, and we need your continued commitment to confront animal cruelty in all its forms. Our New Years Resolution is to help as many animals as possible through awareness, education and action. Without YOU we couldnâ€™t do it! Thank you for helping quell the suffering, speaking up for the voiceless, and making a difference in the lives of homeless pets everyday!

In 2007, The Humane Society of the United States celebrated animals and confronted cruelty in all its forms.

With your help, we will continue to work hard in 2008 to eradicate animal fighting, expose the cruelty of puppy mills, end Canada’s barbaric seal hunt, rescue animals left behind during natural disasters, and so much more.
