Kristine from Odessa, Fl contacted Best Friends
for help with Miss Daisy. Miss Daisy was turned into the Broward County Humane Society in FL, she went briefly
to a home, then to Hillsborough County Animal Services, then to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay where she languished
for 3 months. She was one day away from being euthanized, when she was rescued by one of the volunteers there who
saw no reason to put down this poor dog just because no one had adopted her. Unfortunately,
the volunteer already has 3 rescue dogs at home, and he has deed restrictions limiting him to 2 dogs, so Miss
Daisy has been stuck at a daycare/boarding facility for over a month.
Miss Daisy is a very photogenic (as you can see
from her pictures) greyhound mix who we think is about 6 years old. She has been doing very well in her weekly obedience
classes and enjoys going to the dog park. She shows some fear if a dog rushes towards her but she is getting back her
personality more every day.
This girl needs a real family and
a stable home.
If you are interested in adopting Miss Daisy

Allan or Kris
