patience, support, and honest
feedback.
What's happening at NB?
Official Launch - We officially launched on September 1st, and have since then
passed an important milestone
- 1,000 titles! Keep spreading the word, the
bigger we get, the more difference we can make.
Free book for members - NB will be providing a copy of Jerry Simmons'
manuscript,
"What Writers Need to Know About Publishing" by Jerry Simmons. This 206 page manuscript is based on Mr. Simmons' over 20 years
of experience in traditional publishing, culminating as a Senior Executive with the Time Warner
Book Group.
Mr. Simmons is the founder of Nothing Binding and hopes that sharing his experiences in the trenches of traditional publishing
will help as many writers as possible. Since you have to be a NB member to be on our newsletter list - here

Changes in the Works - We've heard your concerns and are working on updating
our Writers Groups to look and feel more
like standard web forums. Our
original intent was to provide a resource for writers to receive tips and commentary
on their own writing, but consensus is that a more traditional forum is what the community wants - and they shall receive!
We are also doing some minor housekeeping like breaking apart the alphabetical list by letters instead of numbers, expanding
and improving our categories, and adding new ways to
interact with each other on NB!
It's about a Personal Connection! - We have tried our best to make it as easy
as possible to provide ways for
NB members to add personal media touches to
their profiles. We feel that this is the cornerstone of our community
- discovering, meeting, and making a connection with independent writers. Our media services can be found here:

Newsletter Content in the Future
In keeping with our community driven spirit, we'd like to feature as much content from our community as possible.
Our experience so far is that there is a wealth of great opinion, knowledge, and feedback at NB and our newsletter must reflect
this. We can't be everywhere at once, so we need help catching important industry events and news. We also want
to fill the newsletter with as much creative and original energy that a community of writers should inherently generate.
