You have two choices in life: You can dissolve into the mainstream, or you can be distinct. To be distinct is to be different. To be different, you must strive to be what no one else but you can be.

The single greatest moment on any RV trip is the instant you turn the key on the ignition of your motorhome or tow vehicle and hear the engine roar to life. You are about to untether yourself from your fixed-based life, and you feel a surge of energy from deep within your soul. Adventure, excitement and discovery await, and that's a feeling that nearly all RVers experience at each moment of departure.

Just a Little Fix em Up...
Well, my Coachman RV has been receiving a lot of attention, so she will be running like a charm (especially if I have to make a fast get-a-way, if that time ever comes!) It doesn't exactly have the horsepower to back that up, being that it's got a 4 cylinder Toyota Truck engine, but hey---the gas mileage IS something to boast about for an RV. I truly lucked out & the fellow I purchased it from is the one doing the repair work---he says it's in better shape than when he had her! The damage from her unfortunate meeting with the Basketball Court Pole is but a distant memory & now the gas gauge is completely operable, an important indicator when you're driving across the country, I do believe. As with all older vehicles & people too, she has her flaws but I am really happy with the way things are coming together---for both of us, afterall, I hope we will be partners for a long time to come. She is lookin GOOD!!

Still here...
I've still not gotten on the road yet...& am no longer so anxious to do so, I figure things will work out in their own way & time, no sense in getting all worked up about it.  My RV is actually in the process of being fixed--it needed just a wee bit of help after my well meaning Dad decided to move it, never having driven an RV before, & not quite clearing the rather large Basketball Court Pole complete with cement...I'm over it...
