You have two choices in life: You can dissolve into the mainstream, or you can be distinct. To be distinct is to be different. To be different, you must strive to be what no one else but you can be.

(A New Newsletter Every Week)
The single greatest moment on any RV trip is the instant you turn the key on the ignition of your motorhome or tow vehicle and hear the engine roar to life. You are about to untether yourself from your fixed-based life, and you feel a surge of energy from deep within your soul. Adventure, excitement and discovery await, and that's a feeling that nearly all RVers experience at each moment of departure.

It's All A Crap Shoot Anyway....But
Lately my focus has been on a few different things, such as:  Building my Jewelry Making Inventory & then the not so Fun tasks of following through with, the dull & sometimes boring, but necessary, topics of Insurance--with it's rather elaborate policy details & the equally boring issue of Loan debt.

I've been investigating the purchase of Affordable Health Insurance---(easier said than done) suitable for a Self-Employed Person.  I didn't want to be regrettably irresponsible by driving out of Florida not having any kind of Major Medical coverage--I just don't need or want unpredictable & unforseen Health  complications & worries potentially taking away my Peace of Mind & Enjoyment of my new RVing Lifestyle.

I thought it was best not to procrastinate this issue any longer, as my 49th Birthday will be here within 9 weeks time & Insurance Rates will surely not be any less, the longer I wait.  So, as of today I have all my I's dotted & T's crossed--so to speak with my Ins. Coverage due to kick in the end of this month.  I won't bore you with the details, but suffice it to say that, with limits of $6,000,000 total coverage I feel that I've done what I can to responsibly "Insure my Survival"--as best as can be anticipated--in the event of a Health Catastrophe, which I surely do hope never, ever happens...

Now that I'm all set with Health Insurance, another issue I needed to find out the answer to involves adding Personal Effects coverage to my RV Insurance Policy.
Fortunately, I have one of the "Better Companies" (Progressive) which allows for the inclusion of Personal Effects to be addded on to the Policy--up to $99,000 worth of property!

Another issue that definitely needed to be addressed involves reducing my debt load as much as possible.  Hence, I am consolidating my Student Loans, which basically cut my payments in half!!  That got mailed today--along with my Health Ins. application--which I did online.  YEAH!!---

I've also arranged for both the Health Ins. & the Student Loan payments to be paid automatically each month, so that's fewer checks I'll have to send & fewer bill due dates to keep an eye on the calendar for.

So, I'm happy to be able to report, that some pretty important loose ends have now been  successfully tied up & I am free to cross each of them off of my "preparing to leave list".  Following through & accomplishing all these tasks--which I previously felt weighed down by---also relieves a good bit of worry in the process & adds to my being just that much closer to making this lifestyle change actually happen.

Next on my agenda:
#1) Finally deciding on & getting a Cell Phone/ Plan
#2) Renewing my National Parks Pass
#3) Renewing Passport America - Camping Membership
#4) Purchasing Happy Camper - Camping Membership
#5) Renewing Workamper.Com Membership
#6) Joining WIN - Wandering Individuals Network, an RV Organization for Single RV'ers.
P.S. I did go ahead & buy a portable DVD Player.
