The Hunt for Silvera was started as a pet project in February 1999 and posted on the Web only after the author (Ryan, of course - why else would it be branching off of Ryan's Web Page?) had showed it to a couple of friends (whom she is greatly indebted to!) and gotten positive feedback.
No two background colors on the pages of this site are exactly alike.
Initiation, Lizzie Stanton, I Knew Thee Well, Dragon Slayer, Younker In the Rigging, Life is a Poem, The Prisoner from Darelia, "The Luster of Freedom," and The Fire started out as school assignments.
Persona Eclectica got Ryan an (accepted) offer of admission into Oberlin College's class of 2006.
"The Luster of Freedom," e-published for the month of September 2000, was Ryan's first foray into publishing, in any medium.
Ryan is always looking for people to sign the guestbook (hint, hint).
The One They Call Ortaile is actually a revised version of a poem Ryan wrote circa 1998.
Ryan got a 99% on her Lizzie Stanton story because she forgot to turn in a dumb little plan sheet that really didn't apply to her tale.
Ryan's Web Page's zodiac sign is Virgo (I think) and Ryan's is Gemini.

*Clarification: A minor re-vamp (also known as an update or a tweaking) is most closely defined with re-decorating one's room or dorm, as in working on two or three sections and editing only their content or only their appearance. A major re-vamp (a.k.a., a total facelift), on the other hand, is most closely defined with the remodeling of one's entire house, in that it entails adding, deleting, and modifying appearances of all pages as well as editing or at least reading over everything at least once before a new version of the page is posted.
