Elementary

Using a curriculum program designed especially for children, this course introduces the Spanish language
in a fun, exciting, and effective manner. In this highly interactive class, children
will learn a wide range of basic vocabulary and everyday expressions, while learning to speak with proper pronunciation and
intonation. A workbook and CD will allow non-Spanish speaking parents to encourage
more practice at home. This course targets children 1st-5th grade but is easily
adapted for all non-readers as young as Kindergarten. There is no age restriction, but children must have the ability to interact appropriately in a classroom
environment.
Semester Fee: $165/ 15 classes
Purchase
of textbook, CD and CD-Rom is required. Only one set ($42) is necessary per family.

Middle School Level- Spanish 1a Class is FULL; Wait list

taken
This
one year course covers the same material and uses the same curriculum as the first half of High School Spanish 1. Sixth thru eight graders who want to get a jump start on High School Spanish but prefer a more comfortable
and age appropriate pace will be able to start early and build a solid foundation in Spanish Language study. Coupled with the second year course, Spanish 1b, this one year class will prepare your child for success
in Spanish 2 and beyond.
Semester Fee: $205/
15 classes

Tutor and online report card.
High School
Spanish 1
This course supplements weekly classroom instruction with audio and visual
components for daily study. It is a unique mix of media, text, and teacher-based
learning that gives homeschooled students an advantage. The goal of this class
is a strong foundation in Spanish with emphasis on vocabulary and grammar as the means to verbal fluency.
This course moves at a High School pace and is designed for 9th-12th grades. Younger students (not below 7th grade) may enroll if they are self-motivated and have
strong study skills. Any student, who invests 3-4 hours of study in addition
to class time, will excel in this amazingly fun class.

High School Spanish 2
In this course students will increase their communicative competencies in
the four basic language skills of speaking, listening, reading, and writing. The second year course enhances skills
acquired in level one, allowing students to handle more complex elements of the language. Spanish 1concepts are fully
spiraled in this second course to ensure solid language acquisition.
Prerequisite: Completion of Spanish 1 (not necessarily with The Bilingual Classroom.)
