All of the small polyp stony corals are frags, some of them from local reefers and some from large aquaculture operations such as ORA.  The few wild colonies that I kept in the past either changed form, died, or ended up getting fragged to save them. The frags can better adapt to the conditions in the tank than larger colonies. That being said, this tank has much better water movement, which might improve my chances with wild colonies.

In addition to the corals acquired intentionally, there are some Caribbean corals that arrived as hitchhikers on live rock from Tampa Bay Saltwater.
