CLN Organization Board of Directors
The CLN Organization Board of Directors consists of the following volunteer directors:
  • Chairperson (Marlene O. Morgan)
  • President and CEO (Ronda L. Mayerchak)
  • Board Member (Benedict A. Pereira)
This Board of Directors was formed to control and manage the affairs, property, and interests of CLN Organization dba CareerLink Network.  We welcome the guidance and individual contributions of each Director.

Marlene O. Morgan was an Advisor on the Advisory Board for CareerLink Network for many years before accepting the position of Chairperson for the CLN Organization Board of Directors.  She has experienced displacement in her career and has used her experiences to the advantage of CareerLink Network.

Ms. Morgan has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry with proven track record in successfully managing large teams and complex projects.  She has focused expertise in market plan implementation, contract negotiations, services management and billing operations.  As owner of her own consulting company in recent past years, she brings to CareerLink Network her broad business insights and has been a great asset to the organization.

Ms. Morgan received her undergraduate degree from UCLA in Psychology and was one of the top achievers in the MBA Program for Executives at Carnegie Mellon University.  She harnessed the expertise for developing and managing a business enterprise by grooming her business acumen in a variety of cross-functional positions throughout her corporate career.

Ms. Morgan is active in the community and in her church.  She is a member of the Greater Dallas Chamber of Commerce, e-Women Network, and is the current Vice President of the Business Network International Lewisville 2 chapter.  Other memberships include Corporate Committee Member of the Dallas Museum of Art, Member of Carnegie Mellon University Alumni Association, and Lifetime Member of UCLA Alumni Association.

With over two decades of business experience, including executive positions in two Fortune 100 companies, Ms. Morgan delivers on her commitments: value, integrity, and meeting or exceeding expectations.

Benedict A. (Al) Pereira comes to the CLN Organization Board of Directors through his business association with CareerLink Network.  He has been involved with CareerLink Network since its inception in the capacity of coach and mentor to the Team Leaders of CareerLink Network.  His leadership skills have been a great asset to the Team Leaders.

Mr. Pereira has over 30 years in the telecommunications industry with extensive experience in the areas of Operations Engineering, Product Management and Planning, focusing on Network Infrastructure and Applications, Marketing and Advanced technologies.

Mr. Pereira attended Kent State University, Bowling Green State University and University of Indianapolis.

Mr. Pereira is a past Chairperson of the SMDS Interest Groups "Network Management Working Group" and Vice Chairperson of the USTA "SMDS Ad-Hoc Working Group".  He is currently a member of a wide variety of other telecommunications Task Forces and Stakeholder groups.  He is also Voting Member of IEEE 802.6 Committee and a Member of the AIN Forum.

We welcome Marlene Morgan and Al Pereira to CLN Organization and to CareerLink Network.

CLN Organization Team Leaders
All team leaders and guest speakers are individual volunteers.  Many have gone through the same experiences of the pre-employed members of the group and are also seeking gainful employment.  Members have given of themselves to support each other during all phases of displacement.

Ronda L. Mayerchak has been the Executive Director for CareerLink Network since January 2002 and is now the CEO of CLN Organization.  With over 13 years of project management experience in the telecom industry, she has grown from her first administrative position in the IT telecommunications industry to pre-/post-sales systems engineering.  She has managed over 70 staff members at one time and has increased her knowledge in management of projects by simultaneously managing up to 5 successful projects.  She also has additional experience in human resources, HRIS software implementations, employee relations, recruitment and government compliance.

Through her diverse experience with Fortune 100 and 500 companies, networking comes easy and has been very beneficial to the efforts of the group and its membership.

As she has been through the experience of displacement several times since 1992, as have those pre-employed members she now works with, she has the empathy needed to support these fellow members.  She understands the job loss ‘life cycle’ that each member will experience while searching for employment.

Juan F. Elizondo has been an active member and volunteer of CareerLink Network for the past several years.  He has facilitated several NET meetings during his tenure as a member of the group.

He has over 15 years of technical engineering, product support and implementation experience.  He has managed several production teams to successful project completion.  He also has over 15 years financial analysis and background including P&L through such companies as Citigroup, Marconi, and Motorola.

He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from University of Texas at San Antonio.

He is a founding member and Secretary/Treasurer of Motorola Seguin (TX) Toastmasters and Secretary of Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE).

Michelle R. Kessel has been an active member of CareerLink Network for the past two years on a consultative basis.  She has extensive experience in human resources management for the past several years in the transportation industry.  Her strengths lie in her ability to relate to those seeking employment as her most recent experience has been in recruitment and employee relations.

She has over seven years of experience in religious education, having served as assistant director managing over 100 volunteers at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton, Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She received an Associate’s and Bachelor’s degrees and most recently her Masters’ degree in Business Administration, with a concentration in human resources and management from Indiana Institute of Technology.

She is a current member of the Society for Human Resource Management.

Randal S. Allison is a recent addition to CareerLink Network and has over 10 years experience in Enterprise Technical Consulting, with an emphasis on strategic business development, organizational staff planning (recruitment, optimization and retention) and staff augmentation services.

His career progression includes work as an Application and Systems Developer for a global consulting organization and assisting in the establishment and growth of a Dallas based branch office as a Senior Staffing Specialist/Mentor.  His most recent experience has been helping build and grow a Dallas-based Enterprise Solutions Consulting company from start-up to a reputable leader in the Enterprise Integration Services sector.

His diverse corporate exposure includes working with the organizations such as Accenture, CSC, Center Point Energy, Corning Cable Systems, Department of Public Safety, Liberty Mutual Insurance, NASA and others.

He received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from San Diego State University.  He is active in fellowship and service with First Baptist Church of Dallas and is a trained Stephen Ministry Counselor/Leader.
