The October 22nd Sunday afternoon Tea Dance at the Caroline Country Club brought out a nearly record number of members
and guests.
The hosts had set up a display table for the Anniversary photos of many attendees. Most agreed that they looked
different in those photos than now, but still had those warm feelings from way back when!
A special note of thanks to Rose and Leon Parker who went back home to Seaford to get their 50th Anniversary photo album
to proudly share with the group.
Special acknowledgements were made of those with the fewest years (2 - Bill & Ruth Wilson), and those with
the most (58 - Rose and Leon Parker) years of marriage. MaryLou and Ron Keller with 45 years was the runner-up couple.
The floor got really crowded when the Anniversary waltz was played and couples gradually were invited on based on "seniority"!
The 50:50 was appropriately won by the Parker's.
The club members were treated to a new two-piece musical group, DENNIS FOX and Company arranged by Dance Chair Carole
Sasiela with assistance from Yvonne Cimo. The Fox's combination of vocal support to the fine music was an added treat
for those present.
The wide assortment of snacks that were brought by the members made the event even that more special.
Thanks to the committee for arranging such a lovely afternoon for all.
