More water...
The person you love is 72.8% water.
This came from the writer Jonathon Carroll's blog. The figures may
not be exactly right. I've seen varying numbers. But I just liked the image.

World Water Day
This is from www.worldwaterday2006.org Check out the site for more information. "In 1992, the UN General Assembly designated March 22 as “World Water
Day” to draw international attention to the critical lack of clean, safe drinking water worldwide. It is a time when we are
encouraged to pause and consider the largest public health issue of our time – the global scarcity of clean water.
The
facts are mind boggling. More than 1 billion people world wide – 20% of the planet’s entire human population – lack access
to clean, safe drinking water. According to the United Nations, this world water crisis leads to the death of more than 4,500
children every day and is a leading cause of poverty, disease, and social instability world wide. "

Growing a yoga practice....
I'm adding this link in a couple of places to make sure more people see it. I love the practice of yoga and have
found it to be transforming, fun, challenging, soothing, supportive, frustrating. Developing a personal yoga practice
at home can add so much to your understanding of yoga. This article by my fellow yogi (and Erich Schiffmann fan),
Suzanne LaForest, describes the challenges she faced as she first began to practice outside of class. But, Suzanne says,
"As you master the basics of a disciplined practice, a more interesting practice naturally emerges, just as, with proper
care, a tiny shoot inevitably becomes a lovely flower." Enjoy!
