Sources for meditation talks
I've mentioned these to a couple of people in class so thought I should
post them here. If you'd like to listen talks on meditation (Zen, Vipassana, etc) online try www.audiodharma.org There's even a 4 or 5 week lecture series for beginners. Very cool.
I think you can even dowload the handouts that are given to the students who attend in person.
If you are an iPod person, Zencast offers a weekly lecture from the same
source. You can access Zencast from iTunes. Another thing I really like is you can get these cool meditation timers
from Zencast. Theres this soothing little musical interlude to start then you sit and the little musical interlude softly
lets you know when the time is up (if you choose to time your meditation...sometimes its nice to just sit). You can
get 10, 20, and 30 minute timers. I like it better than listing to a digital watch alarm go off...kind of harshes the
mellow if you know what I mean!
