Shawnee State University is located in Portsmouth, Ohio along the banks of the Ohio River.  As one of Ohio's newest four year colleges over 80 different bachelors and associates degrees are offered.  An annual enrollment is over 3500 students. In addition to the vast educational opportunities offered, Shawnee State offers a variety of sporting activities for their students such as track, soccer, volleyball, baseball, tennis basketball and golf.  Also a variety of student organizations and activities are also available.
