Thanks to all that were able to attend the dedication event.  Each of you played a special role in making this time very memorable for the Holton Family.  Your support and friendship created an atmosphere of fun and great times that will not be forgotten.  Thanks for your kind words, special hugs, and sincere smiles.    The generosity poured out!  For the weekend, with hole sponsors checks received, sale of discs, donations to food table and doubles ACE contribution we will be banking nearly $2000.

The course looked great!  The folks that give of themselves are the greatest asset that any disc golf community could ask for.  Chuck Custer, Don Alexander, Rick Stevens, Floyd Eye, Detroit, and Mike Taylor.  The mowing, trimming, snipping, lopping and tree cutting made all the difference.

The park personnel were in awe over the turnout.  They are very excited to see such a response to the course and they are very anxious for the next step.  WE all made a very postive impact.  THANKS AGAIN SO VERY MUCH.

See you on the GHMDGC.

Sincerely,

Ken Rollins

GHMDGC is still under development.

Below is a basic map of the layout.  19 pins are installed with an addtional practice target near hole one.  All Tee sign frames are installed with 9 benches at selected holes.  Park Dept. has commisioned the Eagle Scouts to build bridges on the course.  Find one at hole 4 and another at hole 11.  Navigation of course is much easier now, but a map is suggested.  2008 plans include a course bullietin board, concrete tee pads and more benches.
