This is my cinder block garden. It wasn't quite finished yet when I took this picture but it's close. I fixed a few of the spots that stick out and the tires in the background are somewhere else.

It's official. Yesterday we had our first tick spotting. It was crawling up my youngest daughter's leg. A little feisty one too! It didn't take much for her to notice it and immediately tell me. She knows all about ticks. They seem to love her, especially her head. But of course, she is always playing around trees and in the mud and on the ground. So it is a common place for them to be in trees and fall down on unsuspecting victims.

 

 

I love to garden and thus I write about it. But where did I learn about gardening? Many places. My mom and dad are master gardeners so I learn about flower gardening from them. I read read and then read some more. Mostly on the Internet.
