This Light Green cock won Best in Show at the Eastern Washington Budgerigar Society's
Spring Show in Spokane, Washington on May 17, 2003. There were 176 birds in the show, and
this was my first show as a champion exhibitor.

show, and this was my first show as a champion exhibitor.
One
of my nicer Crested chicks. This bird was hatched on October 22, 2006. This photo was
taken the day before it was 6 weeks old. It is a Crested Spangle Grey Green cock.
The father of this bird was a Crested Spangle Light Green with a small tufted crest. The mother was a Grey Green Crest-Bred hen.
The photo on the
right shows an egg in which the chick is just working its way out into the world. The
mother is one of my first 28S banded hens from 1997 and the father of these chicks is a
multiple crested 28S bird. These were among the first chicks hatched during the 1999/2000
breeding season.
