Welcome to the web site for the family of Chet & Delores Swanson of Everett, Washington. Everett is located in Snohomish County, and is about 30 miles north of Seattle. Between Delores and I we have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.
Delores and I live in the Eastmont area of
Everett. Eastmont is in the Southeastern part of the city, and actually sits just outside
of the city limits. These photos of our home were taken the summer of 2003. the front and
side yards of the house are landscaped in a No Grass Cutting style. The only actual
lawn is in the backyard. Makes for easy maintenance and adds an attractive look to the
front of the house.
Delores' oldest child is Julie Anne (Albers) McCants who lives near
Marysville, Washington with her children; Sean Yuhas, Justin Yuhas and Danielle McCants.
Her next child is Dean Albers. Dean recently finished eight years of service with the US
Army and now lives and works in Des Moines, WA (south of Seattle). The youngest of
Delores' children is Diana (Albers) Calderon who lives in Riverside, California with her
family.
Chet's oldest child is Jim Swanson who lives and works
in Lynnwood, WA and served a term in the U. S. Army Reserves. My youngest is Cathy.
She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Cathy recently
returned to the Puget Sound area after a tour of duty with the Peace Corps in Samoa. She
has gone to work for the Peace Corps as a recruiter for the Pacific Northwest
Several of our current and former family members have served in the military service of their home countries. We've included some information on some of our veteran family members from the 1900s.
