Carolyn Fry, book signing for WISC members

The WISC proudly welcomed the lovely Carolyn Fry, to Wisconsin and to our September meeting. Carolyn is a very warm, gracious person and so very knowlegeable about the Spinone breed. Her presentation was informative and professional; she captivated the audience with her easy manner and accurate assessment of two adult Spinoni and a puppy. We all learned so much from her.

 

Carolyn also did individual dog evaluations for club members and guests. Her comments were eagerly sought by the owners and taken to heart. Because of her experience with the breed, and her one-on-one evaluations, the breeders present learned what to look for in their own breeding programs, to focus on the positives and breed out the negatives.

 

A huge 'Thank you' goes out to Carolyn for making the trip to Wisconsin and our host/hostess, Everett/Allison, for arranging the visit.  It was exciting to meet and greet Spinone fans from as far west as Seattle Washington; people from Canada, Indiana, Montana, Minnesota, Iowa, and Illinois! What a perfect day with perfect weather, great company, fabulous food, and beautiful dogs! We all enjoyed it so much!
