Mission Statement

We, faithful Catholics of the Diocese of Toledo, do join and act together in one accord to build UP the Kingdom of God, and to do together what we
cannot do alone; i.e.,

1.  to make known to the leaders of our Church, and especially to Leonard P Blair Bishop of Toledo, our opinions on matters that  pertain to the good of the Church and to make our opinions known to the rest of the Christian faithful.  Can. 212 §3.

2.  to legitimately “vindicate and defend the rights which we possess in the Church”, under civil law, and our inalienable rights as children of God.
Can. 221 §1.

3.  to carry out our “particular duty to imbue and perfect the order of temporal affairs with the spirit of the gospel and thus to give witness to Christ, especially in carrying out these same affairs and in exercising secular functions.”  Can. 225 §2.

Who We Are

We are newly created refugees of the Catholic Diocese of Toledo

We are loyal Catholics, faithful Christians all

We love our Church, we respect and follow her teachings

We have been good and faithful stewards of the gifts that God has brought to us.

We have contributed our time, talent and treasure to building up the Church.  This we will continue to do.

For us:
  • the suppression of our parishes,
  • closure of our churches,
  • and seizure of our assets,

has all taken place without our consent, and the manner and spirit in which it has been done, is severely testing our faith,......... not in God......but rather in the current leadership of our Church.

We do not believe that what is happening is true to the life, teachings and example of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We sisters and brothers in Christ, resolve to support one another with love and charity.

Opposing the closure of vibrant, viable parishes in Catholic diocese since May 2005
