This wonderful
Du Barry Teapot is probably one the most popular chintz patterns made by JAMES KENT. It is for the Kent
factories what Summertime is for Royal Winton. The diamond shape is magnificent and very rare!
This teapot is maked Fenton also in the
backstamp and dates to the 1930's.
The teapot measures 10" inches by 6" has a squarish
body and great flower final on raised feet. There is a tiny and I do mean tiny too small to measure paint
flake in the gold edging on the bottom edge of the lid. This is so difficult to see with or without the lid on the teapot I would never have found it (it is
painted gold) expect the seller pointed it out to me.
Everything else is mint condition!
