Here is part of an article I found in the March 2004 Reader's Digest, written by Peter Beinart titled "Who Will Win the
White House"? Yes, this is "after the sad fact that Bush is in the White House", but there are some interesting points
made here.
"polls show that Americans trust the president more than Democrats to prevent another 9/11. But on homeland security,
it's Democrats who want to do more. Soon after the attacks in New York and Washington, Democrats tried to secure a $10
billion in appropriations for things like computer upgrades at the FBI and better security at ports and nucler installations.
But President Bush said that America couldn't afford it. In 2002 and 2003, Democrats once again tried to add
billions to the homeland security budget to protect the country from terrorist attack. Once again, Bush rallied Congressional
Republicans in opposition.
Budget battles aren't polititcally compelling, but Democrats can link them to something that is: the police and
firefighters who gave their lives at Ground Zero. This June, an independent task force sponsored by the Council on Foreign
Relations reported that only 10 percent of America's fire epartments have the personnel and equipment to respond to a building
collapse. Many police departments lack the protective gear to secure a disaster zone after an attack with weapons of
mass destruction. Yet the Bush Administration rejected the task force's calls for more money for first responders."
This article also tells about Saudi Arabia and how many Americans no longer consider Saudi Arabia an ally.
"Bush has pressed for women's rights in Afghanistan, yet we've heard barely a peep from him about how women are treated
in Saudi Arabia. When a Congressional investigating committe reportedly linked top Saudi officials to the 9/11 hijackers,
the White House censored that portion of the report, claiming national security."
Does this tell us that Bush is not living up to his claim, "You're either for us or against us!"? I think so!
We can't "afford" to protect Our Protectors---how under God's heaven can we "afford" a multi-billion dollar war/debt
to re-build Iraq and pay to protect the Iraqi people and not our own???? Huh, Huh, Georgie Baby??
Since this was written, you may all realize that King George has now requested another $80 or 83
billion, mostly for the war in Iraq!!! This is Bush's Viet Nam---a war that should have never happened!!
To let your Congressmen and Representatives in DC know how you feel about our government and Bush's
"Big Give-Away" of our futures, our young people's lives, our security and our money, e-mail your Senator or Representative
and say this:
"Sir, I plan on contacting as many people in government as I can to request that proceedings be started
to Impeach President George W. Bush because of his questionable business dealings/contacts; misinformation and out-right lies
told to the US people; because he has ignored the Constitution of the United States and the UN, and because he is doing his
best to undermine not only our country, but our image and standing in the world.
It is time he is stopped and made to understand that he will not be allowed to run rampant and spend
our country into a Third World Status."
I have started with the "A's" in the House of Representatives and I intend to send that message to
all in the House and then start with the Senate!

This is just something I came across recently: Another "F" for the United States "ruling class"!
Col. Charles Scott who was held ostage in Teheran, Iran, for 444 days 25 years ago, tried to file a suit against Iran
for holding them hostage.
In 2002, OUR GOVERNMENT, in all their infinite wisdom, and, of course, "with the best interests of it's citizens at heart",
DEFENDED IRAN AGAINST THE HOSTAGES!!!!
Now, I ask any and all of you Good Readers, "Is THAT your idea of how a democratic government, supposedly
"Of the people, By the people and For the people" should TREAT THE PEOPLE"?
I say, "NO!" I'd like to impeach Bush, Cheney, all of their cronies, "yes" men, and any one
else that tries to "Pork" our government, lies to the people, uses their power in government to enrich and empower themselves
even more, and ALWAYS TO THE DETRIMENT OF THE PUBLIC, JOHN OR JANE Q. PUBLIC!!!!

Recently a friend said she would like to see Bush impeached, "But,
what can one person do?"
Do you realize how MANY "one persons" there are that feel that way? One
raindrop can't cause a flood; one snowflake can't cause a blizzard; one fig leaf can't cover a naked person ---- BUT, it's
really, really TRUE that there is "Strength In Numbers"! All it takes is "getting the many ONES together to make that
flood, blizzard or pair of fig-leaf pants!
