Hello Saline - Lindenberg Friendship Committee Members,
Next Saturday, July 15 is the Celtic Parade. We are walking in
the parade with the Saline - Brecon Friendship Guild. We would like as many of you to walk with us. I don't have
the line-up schedule, yet, but we must be in line by 9:30 some where near the old Middle School on Saline-Ann Arbor Rd.
I will email everyone on the exact location if you let me know if you are planning to walk in this parade.
Thursday, July 20 & Thursday, August 17 are our next Stammtisch gatherings
at Mac's starting at 7:00. Hope to see you there.
Saline Summerfest is Friday & Saturday, August 11 & 12. We are having a food booth
with bratwurst, sauerkraut, lemonade, ice tea, etc. to sell. Our booth will be open on Friday 5:00 - 9:00 and
Saturday 11:00 - 9:00.
We need workers for 2 hour shifts during this time. Please consider
helping us out during this fundraising event. This will be a trial run for our food booth at Christkindlmarket.

The German Park Picnic is held the last Saturday of the 3 summer months every year.
The SLFC board would be willing to hold a table for our group for Saturday, August 26 if you
are interested in going to this picnic enjoy eating German food and listening to German music. Please let Dick or me
know by Sunday, August 13 in you are interested in going and having a fun time.

we are trying to get more dependable members to help to support us.
