GUITAR INSTRUMENTALS WITH A BLUE/JAZZ R&B FEEL . RICHY KICKLIGHTERS DISTINCTIVE MELODIES
AND SOULFUL TOUCH ON GUITAR HAVE PUT HIS SONGS AT THE TOP OF RADIO CHARTS IN BOTH THE UNITED STATES AND JAPAN.
You may never have heard of Florida guitarist Richy Kicklighter, but over the course of seven albums he’s made some of the most mellow and gorgeous smooth jazz on the planet.
Kighlighter's King’s Highway and Myakka CDs from 1993 and 1994, respectively, are two of his best.
It may conjure up overworked images, but his best songs on those and all of his CDs have been the ones that’d be kissin'
cousins for the warm breezes of tropical nights.

This is the latest smooth jazz r&b recording released on Midnight Pass and features once again the best of Tampa
bay players. We really took some time recording this trying to get some real playing without many overdubs, some of my takes
were melody and solo one take all the way through. Brandon Sommers who played keyboards and co produced sat through
many hours of solo's while I kept reaching deep for the right feel.

This originaly was a childrens idea I had but it changed during recording and became the journey of a train and some
of the sounds along the way through one day one night, One Sun One Moon. It has turned out to be a huge seller and has a very
healing and relaxing quality that appeals to everyone. The muscians that played on this did an incredible job because
much of the playing was improvising on the moods, painting pictures in sound. I got a review on one song on this cd that is one
of the nicest reviews I've ever gotten, author unknown
review of Train Song from One Sun One Moon
This is by far the highest rating I've given to any BroadJam review I've done, and I am EXTREMELY "picky". I can't say
enough good things about this music. This artist NEEDS TO BE SIGNED if not already, if the rest of his/her music is this good!
This is the first review song I've listened to more than twice in a row (I'm on the 4th listen as I write this). The instrumentation,
sound fx, recording quality, shared melody hooks between instruments - everything are outstanding. Very suprising use of steel
guitar sounds that "sneak" in every now and then unexpectedly that compliment VERY nicely. There may be slight country music
influence here, but it's ALL GOOD. I love the little snippets of piano licks that come in as echoing compliments to the rest
of the music, and they do so without overpowering. Nice inventive chords! I WILL seek out more music from this artist! I'd
love to hear this artist on XM Radio's "Audio Visions" (XM channel 77) which I listen to constantly, or John Diliberto's "Echoes".
I feel like I can say all of this from an "educated" standpoint because I am an award-winning composer and performer, and
have even been recognized by past presidents, vice presidents, and performed for tens of thousands of people in some of the
most prestigious venues in the world. What's with the train sound effect in the end? Cool. Unexpected, and rather than taking
away from the recording the train sound makes me wonder "what's around the next corner", making me want to hear more. I'm
jealous that my music isn't this good! ONE SUN ONE MOON
ModernisTick Fusion is just that... a fusing together of jazz, funk, rock, R&B, and hip-hop. It has always been
my intention (as a composer, keyboardist, and producer) to create something different. This CD is the result of more
than a two year evolution of writing and recording that included three former demo cds (Ticked Off, Still Ticking, and
LunaTick). It should be noted that the resulting "fusion" could not have been achieved without the incredible contributions
of Dave Milne on sax, Richy Kicklighter (my awesome partner of Midnight Pass Radio) on guitar, Craig Hlady on guitar,
Rico Spence on bass, and Jacques Raymond on bass... as well as other friends.

EARLY MORNING RAIN , ACOUSTIC BLUES INSTRUMENTAL BY RICHY KICKLIGHTER CLICK ON LINK TO HEAR SAMPLES AND BUY
Early Morning Rain started with a couple of songs I had composed for fun and posted to some music websites. Next thing
I know a few radio stations and websites uploaded some of the songs and put them on the radio and reviewed them well.
People like the very laid back casual on the porch by the fire kind of feel. I recorded these one take, no overdubs here's
the blues as real as it gets..
