Microspec.jpg

Progressive Labs Microspec Spectroradiometer provides the accuracy previously found only in instruments priced at $25,000.00 or more. The Microspec utilizes a state of the art 2048 element CCD back-thinned detector coupled to an ultra low-noise a/d converter stage providing greater then 1500:1 signal to noise ratio. The ultra-low noise electronics allow the instrument to operate at extremely low light levels with high accuracy and repeatability. The Microspec accurately measures visible light in the 380nm - 780nm wavelength range and is capable of measuring Grayscale as well as Primary and Secondary values of all video display technologies.

Measurement of primaries and secondaries are critical when calibrating today's digital displays, which provide color management software for proper adjustment of the displays color gamut. Filter based analyzers which are typically well suited for Grayscale analysis do no provide the requisite level of accuracy needed to perform color management system calibration with. The Microspec is perfectly suited for calibration of any display type due to its high resolution and wide bandwidth design.

Progressive Labs C-5 Calibration system is a high-speed tristimulus probe allowing a real-time calibration experience. The probe has excellent low light level measurement capability and may be used for measurement and alignment of CRT, DILA, DLP, LCD, LCOS and Plasma displays to industry standards. Progressive Labs exclusive screen offset file function provides accurate calibration to any front projection screen material. More then sixty files are provided in the package including screens from Carada, Da-Lite, Draper, Oray, Screen Research, Stewart Filmscreen, and Vutec.

Sencore VP403 HDTV/NTSC Signal Generator

The VP403 'VideoPro' Multimedia Video Generator generates the video signal outputs you need for testing, calibrating and servicing any video display type. The ‘VideoPro’ Multimedia Video Generators produce high quality video signals giving you confidence in your calibration with the video bandwidth required for testing HDTV displays to their full performance capabilities. The generators provide all HDTV formats for testing a video display in all operating modes.

The VP403 is the only HDTV signal generator on the market with an ATSC RF output, which allows the calibrator to keep the HDTV set-top box in the signal flow.  Additionally, it has a DVI output, and will output virtually all scan rates and HDTV and NTSC formats. Make sure you ask your calibrator if he/she owns the Sencore VP403 HDTV signal generator with the RF ATSC output. With any other generator you have to remove the set-top box from the signal flow, which means that the calibration of the HDTV input is not going to be as accurate.

The VP403 Generators provide innovative test patterns for determining a video display’s performance and making quick adjustments including Linearity (circles), Pluge, Color Decoder Check, Color Decoder Adjust and more.

The VP403 Multimedia Video Generator is handheld, portable and battery operated so you can service, test and calibrate video displays wherever the job takes you. The VP403 delivers DVI, ATSC RF, standard RF, component video, S-video, composite video and computer monitor signals for all of your display testing needs.
