With all of the technology advancements
in displays, LCD, LED, Laser, etc., accurate calibration is becoming more difficult.
Most of the newer displays have much larger color-spaces, which can cause false readings with the previous, non-spectral
(tri-stimulus), color analyzers. Those analyzers were just not designed to measure
the primary colors of the new displays resulting in false readings. These false
readings can cause “visible errors” in calibrations, easily missed by the inexperienced calibrator. With the growing complexity of accurately calibrating the new displays, the truly professional calibrator
should have a spectroradiometer. In order to provide the best possible service
and accuracy, to customers, Home Theater Calibration has added the latest, state-of-the-art, Progressive Labs Microspec Spectroradiometer
to its calibration equipment. With the addition of this equipment, Glen is able
to get the most accurate performance out of your display no matter what type you have, and, you get the maximum benefit from
your calibration investment.
Whoever you choose to perform your calibration,
make sure they can properly calibrate your display by having the proper experience and equipment. No one benefits from a poorly done calibration.
