Press Release Direct from the Witch-House . . .

Lovecraft’s Weird Mysteries #9, the Special Walpurgis Night issue is now available!

If you’re into weird fiction in the tradition of the great HPL as well as other horrifying tidbits of classic terror, then Lovecraft’s Weird Mysteries #9, the Special Walpurgis Night issue is for you! Leading off this issue, Charlee Jacob returns to the pages of Arkham Press with “The Chinese Screen”. Gary Fry, who has garnered praise from none other than Ramsey Campbell offers his nefarious, Necronomicon-laced “Servant of the Order”. “Beyond Devil Reef” is the latest offering from the palsied pen of artist/writer Linda Navroth and is a tale about curious academics that just can’t keep away from that eternal shadow that lingers over Innsmouth.

And if that doesn’t give your myocardial an infarction, how about a classic interview with original Lovecraft Circle scribe and general Psycho-tic, Robert Bloch! In this rare reprint, Bloch talks candidly (as usual) and at length about his Weird Tales days. “Witchy Woman” is the title of our contemporary author interview this issue. Kim Harrison talks about her hot selling titles such as “Dead Witch Walking”, as well as a few personal insights about the crazy craft of writing, too.

We’ve also got a reminisce of Frank Belknap Long, another of the original Lovecraft Circle, by a man that knew him personally; a remembrance of Sandra “Dunwich” Dee, an update plus a new publication concerning the fate of  Danvers State Hospital, and … a new Necronomicon?

With all this, plus illustrations by the awesome Allen K., what are you waiting for? Get into your mood-macabre and join the weird family posthaste!
