Always loved those sugar beet cars !
As a devotee of the SP, I grew up near
their line. One car that became my favorite is the 2 bay cement covered hoppers. The variety of prototypes, lettering
and weathering on these cars has always fascinated me. Here is a Bowser ACF 2 bay showing many years of service.
Another ACF 2 bay covered hopper with the
later lettering scheme showing more hard usage.
Yet another ACF covered hopper; these
cars were moved in long blocks between loading and unloading points, so a lot are needed to give the right effect.
