Concerts in October and November 2009

GOLDEN BOUGH

Kicking off the concert season on Tuesday, October 27, will be a performance by Golden Bough, which takes audiences on a musical journey through seven European lands including Ireland, Scotland, Wales, Cornwall, the Isle of Man, French Brittany and Galacia in northern Spain.
  • The musicians perform with instruments including the harp, guitar, accordian, ace-fiddle, violin. mandolin and penny whistle.

KIRILL GLIADKOVSKY

Russian pianist Kirill Gliadkovsky will take the LPAC stage on Tuesday, November 10, Gliadkovsky is a winner of many international piano competitions and earned his master's and doctoral degrees at the University of Southern California. He performed for us during the 2007-08 concert season.
  • Kirill's wife, Anna, and his 14 year old daughter, Anastassia, are great musicians as well and plan to be a part of the program
